Turning critical-infrastructure protection from reactive crisis management into proactive, predictive resilience.

Critical infrastructure sectors — energy, water, transportation, and communication — face escalating threats from complex, often cascading, natural and man-made disasters. This NATO SPS Advanced Research Workshop (ARW) convenes international experts to address this pressing security challenge by exploring the strategic application of Artificial Intelligence.

Through expert presentations and facilitated discussions, the workshop advances three interconnected pillars, and works towards concrete outcomes: policy recommendations, a collaborative research agenda, and a roadmap for a follow-on NATO SPS Multi-Year Project (MYP).
